I've got to know about SWU 3.0 from here last week, just some sharing here after seeing some mentioning about contract

I've went to TM point and make a switch from my current plan (SWU 1.0) to SWU 3.0 with 6 months left in contract.

Done thumbprint all those, but order got cancelled in Unifi dashboard in my account days after.

Earlier on got a surprise courtesy call from the TM point staff themselves and explain to me the issue (before even I call them). seems like system glitch on TM side, say will proceed to resubmit for me and update me again once the glitch is corrected.

Waiting and see if I could get the deal at the end

Ya..that time I was not aware SWU and SWU 2.0, I guess wrong timing to accept the offer haha

Back then around march 2022, I received a call from telemarketer offering RM129@300mbps (without waiver), I was out of contract that time. The option given is like either I top up RM10 to RM139 and get mesh device, or stay RM129 with speed upgrade to 300mbps.

Currently my package are still SWU 1.0 but speed upgrade already came haha. 500mbps for now while waiting conversion to SWU3.0

Finally got my SWU3.0 installation date confirmed, and got it rescheduled to my available date.

So I think changing from SWU1.0 to SWU3.0 (while still have 6 month contract) is possible.

I was informed by TM point staff and supervisor when I was switching to SWU3.0 , the RM119 free upgrade 500mbps for 1 year, but after the 1 year it will permanently auto as 500mbps forever (the literally say "forever", I asked them thrice about this and they sound very confident which they say the "pihak atasan" decided it will be auto permanent)
