My installer was late. I asked him to leave the stuff at guard house. I received 2 FiberHome mesh. However, the job sheet that I received by email contain the list of standard items but I didn't received like ONU, STB and phone. All with serial number. Checked with Unifi support, they only change when needed. 🤔🤷

Not the latest bill yet though. New plan name should be reflected in the new bill according to the message.

Haha this is relic that serve me well. I thought it will replace when I subscribed to SWU but the installer was late and I left. So still using it.

Just suggestion:
- check adaptive qos
- check speed between 2.4 and 5Ghz
- channel width, check 5G with 80mhz vs 160mhz
- firmware update

I'm on 119 since August. Of course the speed already on 500 due to 12 months boost. Then it becomes permanent after the Free upgrade announcement. Unifi sent notification and email about this.

Everyone is waiting for upgrade. I see the main debate here is the new sign up for SWU after the announcement. Free speed upgrade TnC clearly state anyone with current plan prior to 5th October get the upgrade.

New sign up get mixed response from TM point whether new sign up gets the speed upgrade or not. Like our 2G frontier explorer forumer stated, it's a gamble.

SWU plan itself is a nice value plan with reduced price, free Mesh and speed boost for limited time. If your 300 plan get activated, you do get to enjoy 500Mbps speed. The question is there is no way for us to verify.

When I sign up in August, it's 12 months boost only, when it get closer to the announcement, some start to report that changed to perpetual. Still mixed response from various TM point. All we know for sure if your plan is same before 5th October, you should get the free upgrade based on the TnC.

My 12 months boost become permanent. Charging plan indeed a gamble now. If your speed get downgrade after a year or so, you cannot do much with the TnC slap on your face.

I'm the lucky 1 to get the door stopper FiberHome Ax1800 mesh. Heck it didn't qualify as door stopper because too light. Luckily it's a good replacement for Aztech router given to my in law.

TPLink ax53? Deco xe75 if feeling rich and future ready (wifi 7), Asus Zenwifi for over the top. Mikrotik for tinkering.

Get another ax20 for mesh setup. I think ax20 should be enough for 300Mbps. Get 2nd if want cheaper than 2xx retail price. New AX53 can be the use main router too, ready for 500 😄
