So I've got exactly the same plan as yours. I did ask for 2 mesh routers as claimed by others but was told that system shows I'm already equipped with a Fiberhome ax1800 since last year therefore no routers will be provided here. I'm not sure whether system doesn't allow the registration of new equipments or the staff chose to ignore the free mesh add-on due to my existing router considers the latest, at least for them?

Live chat thrice but random answers given. 2 out of 3 claimed package doesn't include any mesh while another one reassures that any plan movement up to 100mbps will get free mesh routers.

And when I asked ultimate plus is add-on or bundled, at first she said nope, swu3.0 ultimate plus is what you can give the package, not add-on ultimate plus, so not include mesh wifi, but then she said I can get ax3000 for swu3.0 instead of old ax1800 before I switched so no longer in use...🙃

At the end when I asked if swu3.0 tv packs add-on available, she said for now there's no answer from my side, any feedback will be notified again...

Hi, just wondering if it’s normal for me to receive 500mbps when I’m standing next to the router but when there’s a wall in between, I would only get 300+ Mbps?

Oh means the SWU3 package is 119 for 300 and might get up to 500 isit?

Ideally I just wanna retain my price of 89 and expected I would get 300 for 89 (yes now it sounds ridiculous even to me hahaha).

Thought that I would atleast get bill waivers and a new router but if it requires a spike in the bill then I guess I have to pass. 100Mbps is my limit then.

Also, anyone here using TPLink AX20 router? Does it support 100Mbps?

Just using 1 router for all wifi devices, the wifi coverage is my most concern, 50-100Mbps in upstair is acceptable.

I'm actually buying 1 for my sibling, which upstair has no connection at all using the tm stock router, coincidentally saw this router with 10.10 promo and deciding to place order

I have exactly the same issue as yours. I could get full speed 500+/100+ using lan cable w/o any issue. But wifi is struggling to even get back my previous 300mbps speedtest even with 5ghz. I could still get 300 and highest is around 330+ (this is due to my ipad pro limitation), but it seems like need time to get stable. Currently average with 5ghz is like around 180-200

correct. same prob. i could not get full speed when i am on my wifi (not even until the max speed of 300Mbps i can get in the past after switching to 500Mbps). dun know what is the prob. i know that i may not be able hit the maximum speed of 500Mbps due to wireless limitation but it does not make sense that it could not even hit the previous max speed which i can hit after the upgrade.

Check previous official thread. There's a few comments about the dlink mesh routers. Some said very good, some said not so good. I guess it depends on which router you are using currently. Have to compare with your own router then only know it's better or worse. Although most of the time people always claim that unifi router is rubbish. As for me, I have no comment since I still keep using my own router.

This is normal with budget wireless router. WiFi will be slow. My Fiberhome still new in the box. Better get ASUS router if want better wireless performance.

Correct. Yours is TP-Link. So much better. AX3000 performs the same as AX1800 if your smartphone does not support 160Mhz bandwidth.

Based on my past experience, TM don't entertain you on wireless performance. As long as LAN performance is okay, case closed. But you can keep trying and ask them to give other brand's router. 

ur fiberhome is configure as mesh right? Mesh will only have one ssid, combine both 2.4 and 5ghz wifi. Check if you device is connect to 5ghz in network details.

for my laptop, 400 mbps at room (door open), 300 mbps when door is closed

It's more than ok bro. I checked the spec and watched some YouTube before buying. Tuf ax4200 is for 1gbps and above users. 😆

I am using tplink Ax73, yesterday i tried the method suggested in other thread by changing the bandwidth of 5ghz to 20/40/80mhz (was 20/40mhz), my speedtest can reach 450 and above now but its not everytime i could get this. Overall the performance is better than when it was set to 20/40 only for 5ghz. I also fix the wifi channel for it, first time i did for 5ghz. Will see again how is the performance.

However our concern is still why cant we even get back the previous max speed of 300mbps after the upgrade, nothing was changed in the setting.

Sebab ada yang kata, they slow talk dengan TM Point punya personnel then dapat harga promosi balik. So I am wondering any forummer here have any experience.
