Activate via web's selfcare portal. the MyUnifi app one generates an error when attempt to activate.

My HBO login was unlinked from ASTRO payment method months ago.
I signed-in on 1st attempt to activate, it will result with nothing after sign in to HBO site.
Then I just click to 2nd attempt at activation, now it prompts to link HBO<->Unifi.
TLDR; just sign in to HBO site before clicking Activate to save the steps.

i went to counter after Friday prayer, order only appear in the week after.
not sure how they work; maybe they collect collect collect and later only submit...

bukan... it's a 2-step process.
1) get HQ permission before can create LOCAL job order
2) create LOCAL job order

his problem is, TMpoint didn't even create document for HQ to deliberate in the 1st step.

no point create job order for on-site technician if HQ didn't approve "accounting".
i can feel that it's a process instituted to avoid favouritism and abuse by TMpoint. seems like otherwise TMpoint are free to customise fulfillment. probably the reason why we get to see different price-bundle by different TMpoint/CS.

maybe it's like every one of them are empowered to make a sweet deal down to a certain degree, so to avoid too diabetic a deal harmful to TM, they have to run it with HQ first. especially when negotiating to cut short an existing contract with lower price or better bundle; it does affect costing and revenue projection...

I went TMpoint on 7th July. I remember because I went all the way to TMpoint Parit Buntar because it was state public holiday in Penang
You see my "install" order only created on 18th.
Before that, there was prior "approval" order that ended with "cancelled" status before this "install" order on 18th. No longer displayed so I can't screencap. That "approval" order was created late in the week following my visit.

By now I believe it is stage-d process.
They first need to create "approval" order assigned to HQ, then only create a separate "install" order for local on-site technician. 2 orders, assigned to 2 parties, one after another.

(Yeah, i simply coined "approval" and "install" order just to differentiate and make things readable.).

I tried to build a table of Ultimate-vs-the new Family.

There were so many variations of bundles that carried the name "Ultimate" just ever since I subscribed Oct 2021. I find it a futile, frustrating attempt at tabulating, as the columns keep getting added again and again.

You just have to do it on your own to compare the exact content of your specific bundle against the new Family.

Maxis just need to bring a 2Gbps ONR that have 2.5Gbps port, and Unifi will be done with.
After all, TM cannot refuse those other ISPs on HSBB from accessing and offering the same speed. That goes against the law that an operator cannot unreasonably refuse to allow another operator from piggybacking its network.

This is price since upgrade to 2Gbps in July.
TM published pricing influenced by RAO afterward, in August 2023.
so i expect this is not yet MSAP-influenced.

i check unifi website just now.

seems like for new signup, only up-to 500Mbps is being offered (with 6mths bump up-to 800Mbps).

No 800Mbps, 1Gbps, and 2Gbps for new sign ups.
