if the plan is available without having to subscribe phone plan, then stick to that. do not encourage shady practice. for you it's affordable, for somebody it might not be. where will it stop?

So can you OR can you not register without registering for the mobile plan as well?

Was registering the mobile plan a condition to register? Without which the representative will not register?

To your personal knowledge, is registering for a mobile plan standard practice of all TMpoint? Just that particular TMpoint? Or is it a impromptu condition imposed by an individual?

IMPORTANT: Which TMpoint this had happened in? At what date and time?

UPB gen1 are those with only red+green "bulb" LED in front.

UPB gen2 are those with TRON-style blue strip LED in front.

I can confirm UPB gen2 can stream via UnifiTV app on IPTV vlan.

While I cannot explicitly remember whether did I launch other apps while connected to IPTV vlan, it only make sense that the other apps are also working.

I can't plug them to test the vlan; I rearranged furniture and no ethernet cable long enough between fibre and tv.

I'm not affiliated with TM.

Even the UPB itself is an Android TV box box with official Play Store.

what i see in portal are ... but if call-in, there will always be something else.

when processing my latest 2 upgrade orders, also always appear first but later cancelled. when called in, CS will say there is different pending order to process.

if i can weave a tale, it's like somebody just create a request to upgrade, then somebody need to approve, to create a detailed job order, and to cancel the request to upgrade. that detailed job order won't appear in portal until i get SMS that it is pending confirmation of appointment.

I'm not suggesting NOT do anything.

Just check with them, don't panic into hulk yet.
Had experienced this twice in Apr/May (500Mbps to 1Gbps) and June/July (to 2Gbps).
I kept refreshing to no avail, and just when it finally appeared, the status soon turned cancelled.
But when check, CS said there is pending order. It finally appeared in portal when system ask to confirm appointment or reschedule - else you can't self-confirm the appointment.

"to-confirm" SMS arrives first, somebody will call to confirm appointment later. but CS said, even if just to check next available slot, it means releasing the current assigned spot first before can even check what's available next.

And don't rely on the MyUnifi app to check this. The portal seems more up-to-...certain-date in comparison.

i usually just Maya chat with agent to check "why cancelled?".
they'll tell if there are any pending order from there.

Activate via web's selfcare portal. the MyUnifi app one generates an error when attempt to activate.

My HBO login was unlinked from ASTRO payment method months ago.
I signed-in on 1st attempt to activate, it will result with nothing after sign in to HBO site.
Then I just click to 2nd attempt at activation, now it prompts to link HBO<->Unifi.
TLDR; just sign in to HBO site before clicking Activate to save the steps.
