Why go after the shopee seller but not the product holder/owner?

Or is it the official shop in shopee?

Eg. You buy product brand A from watson and you get allergy, you should go after the brand A holder/owner, not watson (seller).

not so famous brand made in China

Then it's highly likely that the cosmetics are not a "notified cosmetic", in which case he is committing an offense by selling a cosmetic product without notification.

https://www.pharmacy.gov.my/v2/sites/defaul...lation-1984.pdf [refer Regulation 18A (1)(a)]

Then yes, he will be liable if something bad happens to the consumers because he is selling "illegal" cosmetics.

Any beauty products need to undergo registration with KKM/NPRA. If anything happened yes you may get arrested by authorities, depending on seriousness.

another bombshell.

That really depends on what transpired between seller and buyer, it could be the seller's fault if he used misleading tactics to trick seller into buying

he is just dropship on shopee...

you can still help him get back on his feet.

LOL, i myself cant afford to jaga him. I can only afford to spend some time and giving him advice. if he thinks he can do anything, and I will get him back on his feet, he must be delusional

he started to ridicule me after i lecture him for hours, and i bet he treats me like sing song and doesnt bother listening. and i have done my part.

he have sold some unregistered cosmetics products. i pray for him. thats all. i cant afford to do extra

i have coerce him to make his shopee shop stop selling, by telling him, what he did is breaking the law, he risks jail and bankruptcy.

but i know this piece of shit brother of mine loves to do things behind peoples back.

he ridicule me after my long lecture.

he said he doesnt want to be dependency on my, but what a load of bullshit, my brother kinda dependency on his friends.

his so called friends arent really friends

his friends earn commission by selling him insurance that are overinsured. he cant afford to continue paying, and cancelled it and loses lots of money on it.

his another friend earn referral by introducing him to TFX.

i am his elder brother, i dont earn anything from advising him. today, i wasted lots of hours on him.

I see.
You mention he used you for drop shipping?
Then cut biz and financial ties.

there is a misunderstanding. i mean he sells cosmetics on shopee using dropship method.

he also drop lots of shocking info to me.

- TFX...
-shopee dropship
-buying stock from alibaba
- he have no intention to declare income. he compare himself to roadside nasi lemak seller. he said nasi lemak seller also didnt declare income
-he wants to earn continuously passive income monthly 2-3k
- he said the cosmetics products is okay, if it isnt okay, the dropship company wont dare to sell it in malaysia

Anyway, if TS wants to make sure whether the product is notified with NPRA or not, may check here:

Why don’t you be a good citizen report your brother to authorities. If don’t dare, just become mystery shopper then lodge a complaint in Shopee against him. That’ll scare him
*
i will not report my own brother

i tried my best to forget all the sad stuff, and i think i buried 50% in my subconscious already, or else, i probably cant sleep at night

day 2:

suddenly, i realized, by telling him about "notified" cosmetics, i iprobably cause him in deeper hole.

now, he probably shift from unbranded china product to counterfeit product.

he told me, he expected if he sold one product around RM20, he expected to earn RM10 in profit. he smugly told me "you dont know meh? its factory production cost"

is profit margin this high?

i dont want to interfere with him anymore, i am real tired. Therefore, i wont know whether what he sell its authentic or not.

But i heard from him, he doesnt intend to declare income.

I also hope tax man also cut him some slack, even of he didnt declare, he isnt in taxable bracket.
