Remember many Malaysian buy big bike for the prestige, not actual usage... that's why BMW sells a lot of GS, even with the fact 95% of the owner never bring it for off-road..
but it sells since its BMW.. bragging rights is there LOL...

If maintained properly, possible up to 100k KM no issue however, in Malaysia (again)

1. Some GS Rider think they ride a superbike instead ADV bike.. GS never meant to ride extensively 180 to 220 kmph all the way to border or beyond. This stressing all the drive system ranging from the clutch, gearing until shaft.

2. And some of the service Center didn't do proper maintenance service (sloppy) and it causes certain cases the shaft jammed/broken due to lack of lubrication or water slippage due to improper installation of the rubber cover.
