Does anyone heard these cable brands - Multi, Mega and MPC? How do you rank them?

My house is going to do renovation soon, i have last checked with the quote. Can i know if MPC cable is good? or should I consider better cable brand?

Got SIRIM enough already. Brand is mostly about quality. Cheap brand i think only goes for minimu requirement to pass SIRIM

Make sure got SIRIM and not "buatan malaysia fake nike logos"

That being said, top tier ones come from MCMA cartel https://mcma.org.my/member/
Personally (in practice) I use Mega Kabel & Caramay for solid stranded, & Fajar Cable flexicord.

excl.gif There are a lot of "Mega XXX" cables around. Not everything is Mega Kabel.

Copper is a very pliable material. Meaning good cable you twist into "DNA strands" using pliers, it won't break easily. Good cables' copper are "bright and shiny".
Ciplak cable starts breaking into pieces (like eating a croissant, the flakes drip all over your dress/pants) the moment you start twisting once with pliers.

excl.gif Any 40/0076 70/0016 non-metric flexicords = tend to be crappy.

Just use any brand with JKR spec cables. Those SIRIM non-JKR spec cables are mostly undersized (e.g. 4mm²>12AWG, 2.5mm²>14AWG, 1.5mm²>16AWG), whether this apply to all non-JKR SIRIM cables I don't
know. Whether they use the correct sized cables during certification but selling undersized who knows, nobody seems to care enough. The cost per actual mm² between JKR spec vs non-JKR spec is basically same.
