But I believe AWU will arrive much earlier than the estimate dates as they’re not as mainstream as iPhones. MaxJimny liked this post

Only thing is APR doesn’t always have the type of band/size and color that you want.

QUOTE(vez @ Oct 14 2023, 09:22 AM) unposted is not charge, just authorize merchant to charge I'm not sure if you're with the same bank, but I have called to confirmed with the bank and the amount has been charged, for my bank, unposted means it's 'floating' just in case there's any dispute or it's an unauthorised transaction and the bank will cancel it if it's proven. Anyway my status has changed to 'preparing to ship'.and your credit limit is deduct to hold for merchant post the transaction charged should show posted my 15p when i preorder on 22 Sept 12:00am also show like this unposted transaction later on is posted on 30 Sept |

I think the delivery dates will be updated shortly. Mine already updated to 19-26 oct. So should be shipping today.

AWU newbie question.
I understand the watch uses esim card right. And we don't need to go to the telco to set it up, can set it up via iPhone.I'm referring to the data only sim. I'm on digi celcom. Am I right so far? |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Oct 17 2023, 06:37 PM) AirSIM and eSIM are different. Ahhh, thank you for that info. Saves me a trip to Digi store. Ya I’ll give them a call tomorrow morning but I think should be eligible la, am on the highest package 😅AirSIM just needs to do it on the AW only. Nope, not required. Just ensure your plan is eligible. Last time when I had it, there was a link for me to check if my plan is eligible. Now it seems no more, just call CS to check if your plan is eligible. Everything will be done by yourself later from the watch itself. |

I ordered 2 AWU actually. The one that arrived today the ocean band. Delivery for tomorrow is the trail loop. But after seeing some YouTube videos of the Alpine loop Indigo, it looks so beautiful, so might order the Alpine indigo.
Other brands I bought are the Spigen band, Skinarma band and a third party black ocean. |

As I’ve not open the AWU yet , can’t really tell if it’s(skinarma) comfortable on the wrist but materials wise it does feel comfortable to the touch. I think of all the bands, the trail loop should be the most comfortable but doesn’t look good on the wrist 😜
Yes if it’s with delivery courier, it means delivery |

Comparing the straps I have, the trail loop is really the most comfortable but as I workout quite frequently, unfortunately it can’t be my daily wear as sweat just doesn’t go well with the soft material. Next comfortable is the alpine loop, the skinarma alpine is extremely lightweight hence you don’t feel you’re having a strap on at all. Quality wise it’s as good if not better than the original Apple Alpine loop. So I’d recommend to save some money and get the skinarma band if you're getting an extra alpine loop. The stitches, material, workmanship and cutting is just top notch.
Ocean loop is straight forward. It’s silicone/rubber like material is typical of a swimming/ dive band , as such if you’re an active person, this is the perfect and most suitable band , which I’m using most of the time. Comparing the Apple Original and third party ocean band, the difference is obvious. The Apple ocean band is just so well and perfectly constructed you can see the quality. Doubt the third party ocean band can withstand daily sweat and abuse if you’re an active person. Just ordered the Bellroy Venture band this morning and will see if it’s worth the price. The Skinarma is just as comfortable as my original Apple alpine loop. The materials are slightly softer than the apple hence I find it a pinch more comfy. The hook is made of titanium too so price wise this is the better buy compared to my original alpine loop bought from apple store. soulz69 liked this post
