You should use the wet vacuum machine and expose the affected area to sunlight. I experienced a similar leak three months ago, and the apartment's cleaner helped me suck up the water, preventing damages to my laminate furniture. Unfortunately, the water and moisture did cause floor warping later. So, consider myself lucky since I only need to spend 1k plus to sanding the floor.

Does that involve entirely replacing the floor spc?

Mine is timber floor and moisture was trapped under the wood. You may want to contact your SPC installer to see if he could dismantle and dry your SPC to prevent moisture trapped below. For my other furniture, since I dried them within hours, they are okay. I only suffered minimum damages. You need to suck out the moisture and water asap.

Water hammer esp in high-rise pressurised pipes  brows.gif I experienced pipe bursting (the developer provided elcheapo chrome flexihose nothing much better than bicycle tube) when I was at home watching TV

KNS made me drive to hardware shop buy the good stuff (Hokah flexihose), whereby I also replaced the other bathroom's one.. too easy to leak

Ya, the effect of water hammer in highrise buildings usually is the culprit.
