This tournament is open to all amateur golfers above 18 years of age with a valid Handicap (Men: Handicap 24 and below, Ladies: 36 and below). No limit on the number of competitions. Payment must be received to confirm booking on a first come, first served basis. Only 120 participants per course. Format of play is GROSS and STABLEFORD. The MGC 2007 committee has the right to accept or refuse entry without assigning any reason for such acceptance or refusal.

The Malaysia Golf Carnival 2007 (MGC 2007) is organized by Rotary Club of Kuala Lumpur (RCKL) DiRaja and conducted according to the Rules of Golf as laid down by the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews and Local Rules of participating clubs.

This event is endorsed by Kementerian Pelancongan Malaysia (Ministry of Tourism Malaysia) and co-organized by Rotary Club of Bukit Bintang and Rotaract Club of Kuala Lumpur.
