Burn in need a lot of hours of static images on screen to happen. If you are just using it normally, chances are it won't happen.but still see review got burn-in

Example usage that contribute to burn in is playing game like Diablo that have static overlay for a long long time.
About the claim, it depends on cases also. Manufacturer can check your TV uptime to see if has been used a lot or not.
