Are there any CelcomDigi users here?
I'm currently using Time Broadband, but got piqued by CelcomDigi's 300mbps for RM100/month package.
I have the following questions.
1) Does CelcomDigi share last mile connection with Unifi (like Maxis) or is it their own cable (like Time Broadband)? 2) Does CelcomDigi allocates everyone their own public IP address? Not talking about static IP. 3) Does CelcomDigi have any bandwidth throttling or is it bantai je?
Thanks!

1. Depends on the area. Some are using TM infra, some are using Maxis infra & some are using ALLO infra. There are other areas with other infra though 2. CelcomDigi Fiber does not provide Public IP. Not even if you have a valid reason for it. To get Public IP, you only have 4 choices: Maxis, Time, ALLO & TM (the hardest to get). 3. No throttling
The best is if you subscribe directly with the infra owner. Less headache & faster tech support If the infra is owned by TM, you subscribe to UniFi If the infra is owned by Maxis, you subscribe to Maxis If the infra is owned by ALLO, you subscribe to ALLO

Curious whether it is actually a service by Celcom or DiGi or they already merged it as well? I believe it can be determined from the PPPoE ID.

I believe it can be determined from the PPPoE ID. My brother's parent in-law is using it Not sure about the PPPoE ID though, didn't check as I only helped them configure the Wi-Fi settings properly

just stick with time. If u want to get cheaper package maybe try ask unifi customers if they are willing to trade with u since their swu promo for 300 mbps very cheap.

I'm on DiGi 500. Got it before the merger.
I was told CelcomDiGi is same as Celcom Fiber previously.

To get Public IP, you only have 4 choices: Maxis, Time, ALLO & TM (the hardest to get). This is the deal breaker for me I'm currently using Time Broadband 100mbps @ RM99/month. Thought can consider switching to CelcomDigi 300mbps @ RM100/month. Oh well, I guess it's not to be. Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions.
