I plan to install 4000K cool white LED downlight for entire house including study room, except for curtain pelmet with L-box, kitchen under cabinet, entrance door, balcony, aircon yard which will be using 3000K warm white. Do you think 4000K is perfect choice for cozy reading? What is difference btw 4000K cool white vs 6500K day light when using for reading? "In a study by the Lighting Research Center, participants who read under warm white LEDs scored an average of 5% higher on reading comprehension tests than those who read under cool white LEDs. That's a significant difference that could mean acing an exam or barely passing." Not sure if it really can create calm and efficient learning environment when using warmer light. Yes. If you're doubt, maybe can try in one area.. and see how you feel about it.
Warmer is better for reading because reduce eye strain.
But people may have their own preference.

I am slowing trying to change all my lights to 4000K. 2700K is a bit dark for me. 6500K is so boring hahaha. But can't find many lightings having 4000K in Lazada. IKEA's Solhetta 4000K bulbs has been out of stock until recently they updated that they have restock, but I have yet to go there to check.

If in doubt find those offered by PHILIPS that you can alter the CCT 6500K-4000K-3000K. Then you no need to worry at all which is more suitable or not.

My whole house is 3000k, except bathroom and kitchen, which I use 4000k.
For task lighting, I use smart bulb from Wiz, can adjustment colour temperature and brightness.

4000K for reading is just nice. 3000K will tend to strain my eyes a little for me.

I find that the solhetta for 4000k has too few lumens. Are they brought enough to be used as down lights?

So far ok for your usage? Do you pair with any hub for voice control?
