nice... was considering this for my versys earlier in the year coz can get for ard RM100 on shopee....

but then i got a half brand new kit of scottoiler v system for RM200...only the reservoir was used n i already had the oil for my other system.... everything else was brand new....so went for that instead.

to answer ur question... yes it will... flinging is kinda part of the design of this type of oilers...especially scottoilers. as when it flings, it will bring the dirt on the chain along with it. once of the reasons why chains can last longer with scottoilers. my z900 has been on scottoiler since about 1k km... am at 60k+ now with the same factory chain... at 35k i opened up the front sprocket cover n the area was clean to the point that no cleaning was needed...just cover back up.

just wash the rear wheel once a month at the same time u wash ur bike oso ok edi...or the same time u wash ur chain. its part of maintenance. use kerosene n a paint/detailing brush to get the gunk off the rim easier.

if wan rim clean n proper all the time... dont use any lube ever... n completely remove rear brakes. no lube n no brake dust on wheel...clean for much much longer

depends on ur flow..... u can adjust the flow of the scottoiler...they recommend 2 drops per minute iirc... but thats too much imho to a point where the flinged off oil thats collected at my chain guard will drip to the floor when i park my bike. i set mine to about 1 drop every 1.5-2 minutes.

chain remains oiled, cleaned and no drips... still some oil stains on the chain guard on wheels.. but thats normal.

U can check with hodaka motoworld in pjcc. N theres a couple of sellers on shopee.

Theres another bike shop in kl... sells scottoiler n its parts..quite famous but damn i forgot the name.

If u have biker friends who go singapore alot...can ask them to get for u..i get mine there. Much cheaper but dunno if price increased or not coz last time i bought was before covid.
