Hi sifus,

I am currently in Kuantan Air Putih area, am looking for broadband internet and did not know which one to choose between Unifi air, maxis, celcom etc.
Anyone can provide help as they are using 'em?

My main usage will be on watching Twitch and playing Dota2.

Thanks for any recommendation.

First priority is to get fibre broadband, any vendor will do.

If fibre broadband is not available at your location then look for 4G/5G mobile broadband. But make sure the signal is covered and strong at your location.

Mobile networks don't really have the best pings.

A couple of years ago (pre MCO) , I was on Digi Infinite 150 as TM refused to pull fibre to my area
It is near impossible to play multiplayer games as the ping will consistently be 2~3 times higher than those on fibre
If any of your games requires good ping, forget about it
Playing Warthunder and World of Warships on broadband is a proper nightmare

online game require low latency

Choose the cheapest 5G you can find, the network is the exact same for now

4G is out of the question if you care about gaming experience

I am using umobile and maxis. Tomorrow i will pass by your area to do speedtest. Let me upload the speedtest results for your reference. I use yes few months ago for its 5G. Although it says unlimited 5g (plan 30) but very unstable. I mean their line.

Just for reference, on Lion City M1's MVNO Circles.life SA 5G on Band 48. On MRT, no congestion of people whatsoever. Ping time is still fluctuating,

IMHO Sub6 5G currently no matter SA/NSA both ping time still depends on how congested/good your signal is at your area.. not to mention Malaysia's 5G is literally all using DNB's equipment and not their own, you'll be fighting with everyone to get 5G signal :,)

in kuantan saya sekrg guna U Home 5G on 5G modem but sipi2 dapat 5G signal so now i am locked to 4G network for stability, speed around 70-80mbps. using for tv streaming, netflix, youtube and Playstation online gaming sessions

sblm ni pernah try:-
- YES Power 35 (FUP 100GB) - gaming experience xbagus kerap DC mid game

- Digi NEXT 40 + 5 unlimited hotspot - speed maximum sekitar 8-10mbps saja tp line stable, boleh torrent. tiada isu on gaming

- U Home 5G rm68 + 4 (tax) - so far yg ni terbaik buat masa ni tapi xsupport torrent atau p2p

btw, my loaction is Taman Fairmont Jaya / IM1
