This is maxis 5G in taiping inside the house speed , dnb maps shows nearest 5g tower was about 500 meters away. In comparison 4G was abt 47mbps.

the unlimited quota is temporary only iinm until dnb changes their mind for the promo

What you can do with 600mbps that you cant do with 40mbps on mobile phone?

Unless you tether to pc to torrent … really dont see the difference …

Watch youtube needs 600 mbps? tik tok? fb … no mobile application needs that kind of speed to run … the single usage i can think of that needs such high speed is firmware upgrades… else no app developer will write an app that needs 600mbps to operate…

No..Mine is postpaid unlimited

I don’t see benefits of using 5G atm. With current 4G speed ranging from 50-100Mbps, I still can layan udang without buffering.

What’s the use then…seems like TikTok is faster loading with 500mbps lol

it's for lower latency and more responsiveness. And when there's both 4G & 5G bands there will be less congestion...

Using phone as tether to desktop , much more responsive for Citrix apps compared to 4G , latency sensitive apps could benefit from 5G
