huh, what are you trying to show? blink.gif
we are talking about RV670, it's the upcoming AMD HD3800 series.

no HD3870 on the list.....

anyway, ATI can certainly afford to go to war(price wise) with Nvidia with the reduced manufacturing cost of the 55nm die ....

Beautiful images as in image quality...really...does it make your game any less fun? It may make the video in my movie duller and that would irked me...but gaming? How would a jagged fence, or clearer cobble pathment, or clearer ocean wave - all in a distance - make my game much more fun?

My point is...you really cannot say anything much about image quality between NVIDIA and AMD.ATI in gaming because they don't really matter much...unless you snap every frame to be made into your wallpapers or something. It matters in movie or other video/graphic intensive softwares.

Read again, bro.

Notice the bold part?

If not, it is repeated above...

so in ur case, its better to turn off those AA, AF, image quality for all those games that is B-E-A-U-tiful sweat.gif

better get higher frame rates than B-E-A-U-tiful graphic or image quality (isn't the both kinda same rclxub.gif )

play Crysis with those all eye candy turn off & other graphic settings set to lowest or minimum

u'll get higher frame rates thumbup.gif damn fugly whistling.gif

but who give a damn, during the heat of battle, i guarantee u don't give a damn on those image quality, heck u busy running & shooting wink.gif

unless you snap every frame to be made into your wallpapers or something laugh.gif

Yo, bro. Read the post above. Here it is if you can't find it.

Added on December 5, 2007, 4:59 pmI am saying it is important to have beautiful images. But the image quality difference between NVIDIA and ATI while gaming is useless. Image quality between NVIDIA and ATI while using video/graphic intensive software matters. Don't put words in my mouth.

ya la, i know, that's why i support ur opinion lor cool2.gif

what i meant was, you the kinda guy that prefer to set the graphic setting as high as possible without scarifying frame rates (same goes to me lor tongue.gif )

if all graphic setting were to turn off to get 40fps or the lowest acceptable frame rates for u, u would do it, right? blink.gif

i'm not that graphic or image quality maniac anyway, i just want to play the game & finish it laugh.gif pdai2 la ctrl nafsu masing2 cool.gif

Hahaha.

Eh guys, if i update my M2N-E bios, will it be able to support PCI-e 2.0?
*
no need to update, the PCIE 2.0 graphic card is backward compatible

can use graphic card that is PCIe 2.0 straight out da box

& no, if u update ur M2N-E BIOS, the PCIe 1.x will not turn into PCIe 2.0 laugh.gif
