will you consider invest some money on cooling paint and tinted if one of the wall is facing afternoon sun ?
will these effective ?

or you will try to buy a house that avoid afternoon sun ?

I will never buy a condo with balcony facing west.

Doesn't matter how much you spent on black out curtain, window tint, cooling paint etc. You house will still feel like a sauna.

The only solution is to turn on A/C.

Can think to.put another layer of aluminium louves as a facade design to avoid direct sunlight to the wall

That's not the only factor. Also depending on your natural ventilation, your unit height & nearby environment.
