hi all sifus, wanna ask for Tesla basic autopilot, assume in front no car, and I set speed limit at 110 kmh on highway, does it automatic slow down for corner?
Or I have to buy the Enhance Autopilot for this?

QUOTE(sansaboy @ Apr 9 2024, 08:02 PM) Autopilot will slow down abit if the corner really sharp So it is like no difference for Basic autopilot with Enhanced autopilot? In term of cruising on highway? Better wait for FSD available in Malaysia then only buy the FSDIt will show down if overtake lorry or truck Let's say u activate autopilot at middle lane or right lane at 110kmh When left lane have lorry or truck It will slow down abit when overtake the lorry and stay slow after overtake, around 90kmh - 100kmh After done overtake to some distance alr Then will automatically back to 110kmh Really not encourage using autopilot in Malaysia Unless really really less lorry highway like Wce, Kajang - seremban highway, Guthrie, etc Most disadvantage of autopilot: The software will make the car cruising at dead centre of the lane, which is quite dangerous in Malaysia road conditions Because many big truck on highway Many moto lane splitting Auto pilot will ignore motor lane splitting This is very dangerous I will wait full self driving If jpj Malaysia approve this Checkout fsd v12 video at Twitter Really amazing |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Apr 14 2024, 07:26 AM) Bad, not comfortable for us sitting inside the car 😂 jerky LOL. And depending on how the front car behaves too. I thought Tesla AP is much better than other brands ADAS?My current car ADAS is "copy & paste" the front car behavior, which is not comfortable if the driver in front don't know how to drive nicely 😆 Tesla AP is the main reason if I want to change car |

Hi all Tesla owners, would like to check a few things on Autopilot
1) what is the max speed we can set on AP ? 2) during my test drive and turn on AP, when I manually turn the streering to avoid motorbike, the AP auto cancelled and system release throttle at the same time which make the car start to regen & braking, is the car able to set AP on throttle only but no streering control? 3) lets say on highway, if we are on AP and I manually changed lane, the AP will be cancelled also is it true? Anyway to avoid this? Make the AP remain active after I manually changed lane Thanks! |
