Anyone managed to join the Tesla Performance Day at Gamuda Cove over the weekend?

Hi, it's already 27 August. Has your DA updated you on whether you can really collect your M3P in the first week of September, which is next week?

I think so, car is already in Malaysia. they say will pass me the K1 & B2 form before 31/8 so i can make arrangement to go JPJ for the interchange on 2/9.

edit: No confirm date though, my best guess is once i do the interchange at JPJ i may be able to collect the car in +- 2-3 days

Good for you bro. But weird enough, this is my DA's reply when I queried about the arrival of M3P in Malaysia. It contradicts with what you said.

Maybe different batch. When did you placed your order?

I ordered on 27 July (Saturday) - exactly one month ago from now and not that far off from your order date.

I believe you mentioned that you ordered on 20 July, right? Just one week earlier than mine.

But the way my DA is telling me is like no M3P shipment at all in the immediate coming week.

I ordered mine on 12/7. Btw i have a friend that ordered a QS M3P at a similar date as yours. He has yet to even get the VIN number.

I think what he means is that all the cars for your spec or possible all incoming m3p have been allocated already. So next shipment for you to get your car is Oct.
I'm not sure how tesla allocate their cars, I don't think its a first come first serve.

Since Tesla embraced the online order process, I wish Tesla could provide the progress like Shopee or Lazada, eg:

1. Assembly
2. Shipping from Giga Shangai
3. Arrival at Port Klang

At least the customers are not kept in the dark.

Finally gotten my delivery date on next Tuesday - Model 3 RWD Quicksilver with white interior.
Checked MyJPJ app, my car has been registered today but the earliest available delivery date is on next Tuesday... my car gonna sit at Tesla parking lot for 5 days

Congrats ! But why cant collect the car earlier since everything is ready?

No idea. I asked for collection tomorrow but the DA said tomorrow is too rush, they need some time to do cleaning and whatever to make sure the car is ready blah blah blah..
Then Saturday Public Holiday so unable to collect...

Congrats bro! If I were you, and if you are allowed to do pre-inspection of the car before the actual collection day, just go there first. It could save some time for you and they can do the rectification (if any).

Btw, when did you order your car? Is it within the 8 weeks period since you place your order?

Ordered 2 August for white + white, heard of the long backlog of this combination which could potentially be dragged till October so changed my order to inventory unit. That explains the earlier delivery for my case.

Just floor it man. For the best experience, floor it on the MEX highway when you're leaving Cyberjaya.
