Nice.
To me 4.4s is good enough. When I test drove the car, hardly accelerate 100%, at most 60% also can feel adrenaline rushing.
Sorry old man in me can't take it. laugh.gif

And so it begins, hardware issues.

The important thing here is to see how Tesla reponds and managed the issue with the cutomer. Giving a loner car is a good step.

This is probably not the only unit with this issue it seems...

Earlier this month I was at the Service Center, one guy asked for my help to remind them for the documentations for his rear motor replacement too. If I remember, his broke down in Singapore, got the rear motor replaced at Tesla SG... and he has driven 5000km, and motor no. not yet update in JPJ system due to pending from Tesla. I checked his WhatsApp name, is definitely not Ronnie.

Hi all, curious about how insurance premium works in CBU EVs (like Seal/Model 3). Since the insurance premium will be based on the vehicle's current market value. Currently, the import and excise duty exemption for fully-imported EVs will be ending Dec 31, 2025.

That means, the EVs you have now will likely be way more expensive than it would have depreciated by that time (for example, the Model 3 SR might be selling 300k+ without tax exemption). Does that mean your insurance premium will also increase?

Correct me if I'm wrong!

Anyone here did the (plate no.) interchange? is it very troublesome?
I read we can use Tesla's own runner so just need to pay RM500 more.

So when i sell my current car, i just issue any new random number to it and will put the old number to my Tesla?

Doesn't work that way from what I know.
If we look into Audi Hybrid A6 which was introduced tax free, when tax came back, the value didn't go up at all. It follows a standardised insurance depreciation rate.

I did the interchange. There were runners to help but I need to bring my old car to specific Puspakom for inspection, then go to specific JPJ to do the thumbprint 1 day before the scheduled delivery date.

I did my own interchange (my first time too).

1. Visit Puspakom with previous car for B2 inspection.
2. Get the documents from Tesla, 4 of them. Fill up 1 form, and then submit to JPJ. Heck the form I didn't fill up also... they filled up based on the K1 (I think the computer filled form from Tesla). Need make sure you get the AP form too. There's total 4 documents I think.
3. My case the number was a booked number, cause I selling to friend hence he wanted a specific number which I bought for him and then registered that in.

What's the arrangement for the (new) number for your old car? Just get any number?

So for your case, is that consider using their runner or consider DIY? Owner need to send the car ourselves to JPJ? As I am considering to sell my car via other platform (MyTukar/Carsome) so wondering if they will cover this as part of their services?

Mine considered DIY. You do not need to send the car to JPJ, only to Puspakom inspection. For MyTukar/Carsome, you need to change car plate before going there.

For my case, I had a runner helping me to prepare all the required documents, I was needed only for the thumbprint at the JPJ. For Puspakom, there was someone there as well to do all the required procedure, I was only required to bring my car and meet him there. All these was communicated thru an agency assigned by Tesla to me.

I got a new random running number for my old car. This was done together in the same JPJ session for the thumbprint for interchange.
