I think so, car is already in Malaysia. they say will pass me the K1 & B2 form before 31/8 so i can make arrangement to go JPJ for the interchange on 2/9.

edit: No confirm date though, my best guess is once i do the interchange at JPJ i may be able to collect the car in +- 2-3 days

Hello bro.. have you got the confirmed date for collecting your Tesla? It's supposed to be this week, right?

Good to know that they make "house calls" even to east malaysia bruce.gif
I wonder if this is considered as the Tesla Mobile service?

Yeah, this is the "mobile service". A bit different from the mobile service in US though. Last time saw they have 2x mobile service launched, this is probably one of them.

I submitted all my documents on August 20th, ahead of the deadline that my DA set. Until today, still cannot take delivery yet, email & called, she say still waiting puspakom inspection.

Earlier earlier say end August can take delivery, then first week Sept, now tell me has to wait until next week. Aiyo.

Thought to use the new car as bridal car, now the delivery date so late, cannot use new car dyy.

Yours is part of the shipment that arrived earlier this week likely... my friend one like that too. Supposedly estimated Saturday can take but delayed already due to car pending puspakom.

I think PUSPAKOM side they hard to control also. My car was supposed to get all the report from PUSPAKOM last week, end up also delay until 2/9 only do everything. Don't worry, it's worth the wait !

hi all, I have just received my VIN as well, M3 SR. Just wondering, what is the typical time frame from VIN allocation to delivery? is it 2-3 weeks?

Also, quoted 10k sum assured for windscreen from Etiqa, is that a reasonable amount? Thanks!

How was your car collection experience process? Was it seamless? How was your car during the collection? Could you have noticed Ultra Red M3P at the parking lot collection area?

Overall it was smooth. I arrived 40 mins ahead of my scheduled, but they allowed me to check in early, which was nice. After a 5mins or so quick briefing we were shown to our cars.

If i would have to point 1 feedback, it would be that they didnt allocate enough DA/Staff to guide us through the car's features. There were around 6-7 new owners that day buy only 3 available staff, one of whom was a newcomer. Thankfully, i had done my own research and was already quite familiar with the car's operation, so I only had a few quick questions before i was on my way. Car was flawless btw.

Saw a few ultra red performance, it was glorious. Look even better under the sun. The black and quicksilver is not what i expected though. If i had to rank the colors from best to worst.
1. Ultra Red
2. White & Blue
3. Black & Quicksilver

my experience for tesla model 3 RWD white default spec, from the order date until delivery date took 35 days. I got VIN 7 days after placing order, but it took almost a month to deliver.

I collected my car on Wed, no briefing, just wait for 15 mins and straight away go to see and inspect my car, just help me to register my phone key, then I drove it back.

Talking about the DA/staffs' availability during pick-up, my case was worse when I picked up my car 3 months ago. The DA just walked me to my car, told me to check it through and he just walked off, telling me that if I needed any assistance just go find them. laugh.gif
Luckily I did all my research from the internet/YouTube before picking up the car, never test drive before too. At the end, I just did the walk around check, signed off, accepted it through the app and drove off, all by myself. laugh.gif

I would say Tesla's delivery definitely not the best, especially compared to traditional car manufacturers' dealership experience. I was 20 minutes earlier and they also allowed me to register earlier, however, the briefing session was full right before me, hence I have to wait at the waiting area for roughly 25-30 minutes before gets called into the next briefing session (P/S the coffee machine isn't even working!). The briefing is kind of extra for my case as I'm already quite 'familiar' with all the features and functions of the car before I even ordered the car (I believe most of us here are). After the video briefing, then we were brought to the delivery car park and the staff just asked us go and locate our own car dry.gif

As my car is the furthest away from the building entrance, I was the last one to be entertained by the staff. Before that, I just go through the car inspections, feature testing, photo taking, even have to grab the big red ribbon ourselves for photo sessions. After about 20 minutes of inspection, walk around and testing, finally the staff approached and only guided me to confirm the car VIN number, then helped me to setup the phone key, then requested me to sign off the delivery then that's it. Told me I can just drove off.

Same with everyone here, luckily I'm already pretty familiar with the car, so I indeed not needing too much assistance from the staff. But there is almost little to none of the "welcomed" or "prestiged" feeling for the whole Tesla delivery process. You're just like a student go to attend a class, then given few instructions then that's it. Car is flawless tho, as per heard online, Shanghai Gigafactory's build quality is indeed above par.

If you were to check out the Model Y from Giga Shanghai... it is a different build vs the Model 3 though.

I have 2 questions on the Tesla App

1. Why I'm not seeing the upgrade option for EAP / FSD in the Tesla app? I'm only seeing the premium connectivity subscription option, but not seeing EAP / FSD at all.

2. Why am I not able to use the Trip Planner for navigation in the app's "Location"? Once I clicked on destination, it shows error "This feature is not available in this region."

Any sifus has any ideas on the above?

Both aren't available as per your observation.

Not sure also why they haven't trip planner for Malaysia.
