Pakej Rahmah: Maxis Offers 100Mbps Fibre Broadband with Postpaid Line For Less Than RM90/month

Really regrettable to be under TM HSBB coverage for fibre.
Always less due to this monopoly tongkat company.

Good news for those under Maxis own fibre network, Allo, Celcom Timur(Sabah), SACOFA(Sarawak) and TIME wholesale?

I wish my neighbors and taman all boycott TM and kick them out from being the fibre infra provider in my taman.

QUOTE
Besides offering affordable 5G postpaid plans and 5G phone bundles under Pakej 5G Rahmah, Maxis appears to be offering an affordable home fibre broadband and postpaid bundle that costs less than RM100 per month. The bundle offer seems to be better than the Pakej Perpaduan Jalur Lebar as you not only get a 30Mbps home fibre broadband plan with unlimited data for as low as RM69/month but also a postpaid line as well.

However, take note that this Maxis Home Fibre promo is only applicable to areas with Maxis own build fibre areas. Essentially, it won’t be applicable to you if your location is only covered by TM’s HSBB network.

Pakej Rahmah for all Malaysians.

It roughly hints that 100Mbps fixed fibre will soon be lowered to RM89, 30M plans will go somewhere like RM69.

But it'll start with Maxis launching this price only for its own built fibre network.

Allo also already lower their 300Mbps fibre plans to RM109 permanently.

TIME with 300M/500M for RM109/119 respectively.

TM? As always playing quiet until government push them if no more noise they just get away with it. Useless tongkat company. Living under HSBB coverage is most regrettable. Less choices, less options and always paying more than the rest.

Ps: same as unifail, maxsht fiber+mobile bundle only state the price for fiber part only. Total price still depends on your choosen postpaid package

You can keep the extra postpaid SIM as backup or use in your tablet or mobile modem. Just an extra bonus.

What I'm waiting is RM89 for 100Mbps or more.

it means TM and the access seekers has probably signed the access agreement . TM can announce the free speed upgrades sooner than later .

All telcos must comply with the new Mandatory Standard on Access Pricing (MSAP) wholesale rates imposed by MCMC on fixed lines.
Allo, TIME and Maxis all already started their move to make full use of the ruling and introduce new plans to fit the new pricing.

TM is keeping quiet hoping to get away with it or prevent from lowering their prices for as long as they can.

That's why those under HSBB coverage are most miserable and suffer from high pricing forced by the monopolistic tongkat company.

If it is indeed RM89 for postpaid + fiber, good deal (have to see how much data the postpaid provides)

Otherwise there are already better deals on Maxis own infra, such as this one I received

[From a while back, not sure if it's still valid]

They hinted the Hotlink 40 plan as the most likely be included. Got 30GB+ and unlimited calls+SMS?

i comprehen it same with u

rm89 is for 100mbps home fiber price if u take their postpaid plan together which means rm89 (100mbps home fiber) + rm79 (cheapest postpaid package), means total rm168 for both.

i guess the bundled postpaid need to be from maxis, not hotlink.

That's why.

I use Maxis fibre at home.

For phone, actually been Maxis user for years. But coverage performance has dropped in recent years, I changed to Celcom already.

the issue is that all the telcos haven't signed the final agreement.
