Help me choose a phone for wifey

1) Redmi 12 (RM699)
2) Redmi Note 12 (RM799)

These are the prices I saw at Mid-Valley yesterda

She just need the phone for Whatsapp, Facebook, Youtube and taking pictures.

No need flagship phone

Note 12: brighter screen, better storage tech and faster charging

My vote goes to Redmi Note 12, bought 1 for my friends mom, she using it no problem so far. Bang buck price RM749 when i bought it.

Redmi 12 camera is very bad, if photo is your main concern and want stick with xiami you got to go for Xiaomi 13 pro

Or you can choose other than Xiaomi if you have that budget for Xiaomi 13 pro.

Consider poco f5 non pro
Solely because Xiaomi is android 12
Poco is android 13 at launch

Just need simple phone that can take ok photos

What the price for this Poco? Don't need expensive phone

Err 1.5k for non pro
2k for pro

Poco x5 is 1k but also android 12 at launch

If simple phone is wanted, for for Redmi 12 as it's also android 13

Buy online cheaper

All entry level phone mostly okay photo, then you might want consider the phone with features like, NFC, 5g , wifi 5 , 6gb/8gb ram, 128/256 gb storage, AMOLED/IPS , 5000mah battery , won't cost alot probably 1k little bit more .

Yup and also Huawei phone for photo is great compare to iPhone

Huawei is not really recommended since GApps would be a problem.

Anyway my vote goes to Redmi Note 12.

Do you mean Honor? AFAIK Huawei is still banned from the US.
