So VDB is staying? So does Bailly?
Oh my ....

VDB won't even make it to bench.
Bailly won't even be registered into 25 man squad.

Wage putih2 give ...

I still think that the only way to make VDB at least useful, is to try playing him as false 9.
If still not working, then really only can putih2 pay wage.

Because Manchester United cannot afford to buy.
Footballing team need to find ways to still bring in the players we need. This is what happens when we have parasites as owners.

How would you grade our transfer team performance this summer?

In terms of securing what ETH wanted as our main targets = A-
The ways we have done our business securing those targets = B-
Efficiency in clearing those deadwoods = C (Maguire, Bailly, VDB still here)

Manchester United left-back Alvaro Fernandez has completed a season-long loan move to La Liga side Granada CF.

Fernandez, 20, spent last season on loan in the Championship with Preston North End, developing greatly, and will now look to do the same back in his native Spain.

Alvaro was part of the first team's pre-season preparations this summer and started against Leeds, Lyon, Wrexham and Athletic Bilbao. He provided the assist for Marc Jurado's goal against Wrexham in San Diego.

I blame Southgate for the Maguire conundrum. I’m English & in a top 6 team so must be selected. Look at Ward Prowse. Brilliant form & yet Kalvin Philips got chosen over him.

Just hope england crash & burn in the next tournament.

Totally echo what I want to say.

Sorry England. But England won't go far anyway with coach and preferences like this.

This is a bit more better than just releasing him because of the feminazis. Good luck Greenwood and I hope he will come back to our club as a better player, better person and a responsible and loving dad.

I'm in line with your grades too. Overall it feels like a B-.
The fact that we usually leave things till deadline day needs to change.

Southgate giving Maguire a free pass into the national team sets a negative precedent.
Players can continue not playing and still get into the team. Don't see England progressing.

Greenwood I feel is an acceptable middle ground for now.
Let him leave on loan away from the bright lights and noise surrounding Manchester. Rebuild his career.
Give it a year for the noise to settle. If he does well, maybe then try to quietly bring him back into the squad.

Think Slabhead has nudes of Southgate. No way he can still be the first choice at current form.

Why not?..is a better approach imo..can try out the player for a season before deciding to buy them permanently. Imagine players like Antony and VBD were just a loan player, already sent them back to their respective club, no need headache how to offload them

Sabitzer and weghorst perfect example

If Amrabat performs well and become a fan favourite, l rate it B+. Else.... its just B.
