I don't even rmb when was the last time we actually just playing the ball around before half time, since we leading 2 goals.
Anyway, opponent sure will make tactical change in 2nd half. Dalot won't be having that space in attacking anymore.
We also need to wary of stamina depletion, I can see Mount and Hannibal keep running non stop. Most probably need to sub them off around 70 mins.

QUOTE(orga_laut @ Sep 27 2023, 03:55 AM) weird play no creativity maybe its just me.. but no threat also from away team coz we keep the ball short pass looking for runners which fail to open space CP dont even intend to attack without zaha... Now they are just strong defensive team without teeth š

Now one of our attacking issue is that, our main attacking tactics is by pressing. Press + hoping opponent lost ball + we shoot. Which is ridiculous. Pressing can only be sub tactics, but it is clearly it become our main attacking tactic. That is not a good thing at all. This post has been edited by KennRicky: Today, 04:06 AM

i think i understand now.. ten hag just play safe to avoid injury.. slow tempo
but amrabat is good playing center.. lulz but got subbed off.. just a glimpse of what he can do.. 1to1, 2nd ball, tenacity, can see some light now with our midfield

More players came back from injuries in this match than expected. Won 3 goals. Bruno rested, Hannibal get more minutes, Dan Gore played with lots of seniors.
Martial scored a goal. For the whole team, the stress offloaded a bit, the morale increased a bit.
Overall a perfect night.

On the other hand, our U21 lost 1-8 to Bolton senior team in dunno what EFL Trophy.
Actually can't blame them. Our senior Team having so many injuries, until we have to summon U23 and U21 players to train with us.

It is good to have a running leg beside Casemiro so that he donāt have to cover the whole centre circle area which itās quite tough for him doing alone. Now with Hannibal doing all the runs and dirty works, this makes Case less burden now as both Bruno and Eriksen are not runner type and will easily lose possession when get press
3-0,Garnacho and Martial both score, Mount, Amrabat, Varane getting minutes
We have most of the fixtures at home except one game away to Sheffield, and mostly are mid to lower mid table teams before we kena ālessonā again by City
If we still drop points or lose some easy games, I think ETH will be next on chopping table

McTom always hide. š I would say Amrabat settled in quicker than mount. Mount not at his best yet. Drifted in and out of the match. Important to stay available and gain match fitness
