I want to encourage fellow forummers to start purchasing from online stores like Amazon.com and Yesasia.com but I figured that most forummers are afraid to do so because of the hassle of clearing the package with the Kastam. I have heard of many succesful cases of orders coming through without any problems. I myself have ordered Toys from Tower.com and DVD's from Amazon.com without any problems so far. It would be good if other forummers can share their experience here to encourage the purchase of originals from overseas!

Type of order: Music/DVD/Collectibles
Total value of order:
Shipment cost:
Online Store: amazon.com/yesasia.com/tower.com
Date of Order:
Date of Arrival:
Type of shipment: Economy/ UPS/ DHL
Other Comments:

I hope forummers here who have recent experience with buying online can share their experience in this thread.

I guess like you mention its all base on luck. So even those shipment below RM 500 still gets caught by kastam. Well hopefully forummers can find a better way on how to bring this stuff in. Anyone can share here?

It's not proven that it's safe. So many forums complain about greedy kastam eg.
