I have Celcom and Maxis lines in my Fold 5.
From what I observed is that Maxis will connect to 5G more frequently and immediately in areas with 5G.
Celcom will tend to stick to its 4G+.
As all telcos share the same DNB 5G towers, my conclusion is that Celcom will prefer not to connect to DNB 5G so often as they have to pay DNB based on data consumed?
Eh, my one pulak is different story. My iPhone seems not always getting connected with 5G and go for 4G, but my Oppo (Android) always connected with 5G. I put both Celcom & Maxis network on my iPhone 14 Pro Max and put '5G On' mode. Both act the same. From what I observed is that Maxis will connect to 5G more frequently and immediately in areas with 5G.

For eg. when I went to the place with 5G available, suddenly iPhone changed to 4G and stick to it but my Oppo still in 5G mode (full bar). My Oppo with Celcom network btw
