Too long never chase skirts but these days so easy 9/10 kar?QUOTE(Andy0625 @ Nov 2 2007, 01:40 AM)
Can anyone answer my doubt for this Asus Eee ?
I just couldn't understand what this Eee is for since the harddisk is just at 8GB maximum.
Price is tempting to me , but buying just for wireless surfing seems a little waste to me.
It's not harddisk... it's flash memory.I just couldn't understand what this Eee is for since the harddisk is just at 8GB maximum.

Eeepc is basically a new segment altogether.
Officially, it's for the education market and the an alternative to the UMPC and MID devices thats about to be launch
In street talk, its basically targeted towards the in between the "buy-a-Kaiser-and-squint-to-see-the-damn-webpage", "the-STUFF-reader-who-want-but-cannot-afford-an-UMPC and the "pay-peanut-get-rubbish-but-complain-QC-no-good" crowd.
Asus could've done it cheaper but didn't. So personally, I do think it's a much better buy than those sub RM2K notebooks (which seems superficially better value)
