WOW! Tempting!! But then, I think I'll wait for the XP version. I think there's too many limitations to using a proprietary OS

That's good news! I have been thinking of getting a ultra portable laptop for some time now. I think I've found an answer.

Actually there's something that I'm worried about. If I were to install XP on it, would the 900MHz Celeron-M ULV be bloody laggy? Celeron-M performance is somewhat like the older gen centrino right.
Hmmm... |

It's currently preloaded with linux. Win XP version dunno when will come. But the presumption is that u can load it from CD via external.
An update for all potential buyers, not trying to burst ur bubble or anything but although it's using a ULV processor, the usage duration is an estimated 3.5 hours (from reviews) and the heat output is somewhat like a normal laptop which means it'll kill off ur... descendants if used for prolonged hours on ur lap. But at a price of less than 2K per pop, it's a STEAL! |

hahahaha... still alive and kicking... Wahseh... don't tell me that u've been here all night?!?! No sleep?!
Lol! About the sony vaio, I like to go to shops, act like some rich dude n go molest the vaio gao gao. Then when the shop keeper start displaying signs of 'buy-or-get-out', I whip out my Dopod 900 as a 'proof of affluency'. Normally that gets him off my back for another 15 minutes or so. |
