hi All,Got my eeepc last week - I am a near complete noob to computer, leave alone Linux. Some noob questions need your help.
I tested downloaded Quicktime player last night but it said installation failed. Any idea why? The best thing is, the file size is 22MB and I want to delete it since can't be used, but I couldn't find the damn file in my hard disk. Appreciate your guidance.
I read somewhere that VLC player is very versatile and highly recommended. I went to Video LAN site and found there is VLC player download for different version of Linux OS. May I know which version should I download and how to install it?
