Hey guys..

just got my hands on this mini baby!!!! AWESOME.

I do have a few questions tho now sure if yuo guys encountered it before:

1. My LAN connection was working fine the other day but yesterdsay it kepts on giving me a "Network cable disconnected" then "Network cable plugged" then disconnects then reconnects back. I checked my other pC which are connected to the router and its working fine.

Any idea? - I notice its frequent when i go to sites like YouTube or any flash based websites / streaming....

2. where's the built in camera? blush.gif

Cheers.

Yes. that's the problem i faced before and format afew time cause of it.

The Solution is,
1. Go Start>Control Panel>Network Connections>Local Area Connection (Mean is LAN connection)

2. Right Click it, choose "Configure...", click "Advanced" section.

3. Select "Media Type", and try "10Mbps Half Duplex" from "Auto", click ok.

4. Try again see the problem still exist.... (this problem only happen on my House AP, other place like office and hotel no problem....maybe router problem??)
From Asus VIP Forum
Try changing the LAN cable for a start than if the cable isn't the culprit, try to force 10Mbps Half Duplex in the properties of the Ethernet adapter (NIC). Power cycling the switch/router might help also.

I'll ask my fren to try it out again on this setting. Found another solution from the forum is to swtich off , remove battery and work with the AC for a whiel...replugged back the battery and its works fine! strange there.

Thanks for the tip!
