QUOTE(ahchun @ Nov 3 2007, 06:24 PM) first of all go to find where asus target this laptop at the very first place, of course we are one of asus customer also but the main purpose is to help the poor country family at least to equip thier kid with laptop for classroom learning. so if we need higher end laptop, this is not the one to choose unless u wanna carry around portable HDD, DVD writer. but that will defeat the purpose or portability or mobility. and if we insisit to buy expectation have to pull down abit la if not wait Dell or Compacq do promotion RM1999 celeron proc laptop extra Rm500 from Asus EEE U got the correct answer 5 marks! |

QUOTE(kerazul @ Nov 4 2007, 03:02 AM) Somebody mentioned my name? kerazul pwned others Yeah, really bz lately. INSANELY BZ! I think the Eee PC is good for those whose requirements are very specific and are not adventurous with their PC. Take for instance those who buy PPC phone n the reason given is that they can "Go to starbucks and enjoy free internet". Honestly speaking, surfing the net with my 3.5" - 4" VGA res screen is JUST NICE only. Those with 2.7 - 2.8" QVGA screens wan... heh... goodluck lorr... If ur purpose is to "Go starbucks and enjoy free internet" which is not exactly free anyway coz ur expected to purchase a beverage or food, I feel that the Eee PC is a better way about it. Therefore, if ur uses r strictly documentation and internet, it's a good device. Anything else, u'll end up as Sniper On The Roof said; in the pay-peanut-get-rubbish-but-complain-QC-no-good class. i like the word pwned..funny ma at jokes heaven lol maybe 11 pm is toooooo early for ur virtual life..lol my last post for this morning got exam ma(economics?? chiow |

QUOTE(Tainted @ Nov 5 2007, 05:50 PM) Then it's better to stay with Linux rather than changing it to XP. but now thinking to change to xp due to have a compatible hsdpa usb modemI heard XP itself is 3GB and + Office would left with XXXMB. The 2GB would be enough for me to store all my documents and assignments. Songs and the rest could be stored in my external HDD or SD. maybe will left xxxmb??wts?(not sell) |

QUOTE(mypetridish @ Nov 7 2007, 11:56 AM) in your opinion, which one is better designed? would you take the eee pc to starbucks? i would definitely not. id take the foleo anywhere i go, event o business meetings. err, eee pc better design?i like the slim design when u see from sidenot the eee pc. why was everyone being so critical about foleo? it's only $100 more than the eee and essentially a direct comeptition. not the eee has no competitiopn aside for the kids toys OLPC... eiyoo?bukan ke palm cancel the foleo?n announce another palm v5xx i think |
