they should have them in stock... just got another unit on saturday and they had plenty left... just bear in mind that the most it can be is a notebook companion and nothing more, if you're cool with that, you'll be really happy with the eeepc...

maybe we should organize a small eeepc gathering hahahahahhaahaha...
*
boss , gotta work today haha cant find a time to go
wanna go friday together? perhaps after that we can make a mini eee pc gathering for those ppl who r interested to get them tongue.gif
i used eee mostly for checking mail , msn and surfing for quick info ( good replacement for my D810 laugh.gif )

turning off pagefile is to prevent more wearing to the SSD if i am not mistaken.
after u turn off pagefile , remember to delete the pagefile.sys in the c drive folder
that will recover abt 20-25% of your SSD disk space. btw dont need to compress the drive .
my windows xp after update , office 2003 , those AV and Spyware scanner i still got 1.5gb left.

Wong got his point too. normal notebook  ram on board will generate high temperature.  I'm not sure how eee main board design, but its definitely tiny.

u need to know the air flow design whether suitable higher heat.
