Should I buy PS3 from Japan?, Please advice

I will be going japan for holiday & I plan to get a PS3 from Japan as it RM400++ cheaper compare to Malaysia price. Is there any things I need to pay attention for buying such a big hardware from oversea? Tax, over weight, warranty, lost package & so so... Do advice me

u pack the ps3 with gift wrapped then u will not kena kastam tax when u bring it into malaysia
