Ahah..Mine are the Phatty version. The back is not glossy...
I am about to get a Slim version and saw some pictures online. Seems gloosy.. Was worried that it might be a fingerprint magnet... |

QUOTE(muhibah @ Oct 28 2007, 06:21 PM) hi, i got to know that psp slim in japan cost roughly rm600 after conversion. is japanese version compatible with the games sold in malaysia? How about other features? what is version sold in malaysia? US or Japan? The difference AFAIK between the Jap ver and other version is that the Jap version have a built in function which allow user to see local japan TV. Not sure about other difference though. Anyway, given some luck, you can find Jap version PSP slim here as well. Besides, price doesnt differ that much anyway...QUOTE(ffrulz @ Oct 28 2007, 10:03 PM) Felicia Blue looks nice on first sight. Clean and beautiful and much more better looking than the plasticky Phat PSP blue..But seriously, its giving me a feeling that it might not caught my eye for too long. Worried that in a few months, i dont like the color anymore...LOL... |

QUOTE(yuren09 @ Nov 6 2007, 06:37 AM) a question to ask u guys, the wifi browser can be used to browse any website such as friendster or any other websites? i heard tat it uses the dram which is 4mb only and there will b not enuf memory ? planning to get one for myself Well, i have tried the browser on the PSP and its so far so good. Of course, its not the best around and loading time is taking quite long..But its still better than nothing.Regarding the memory thingy, i have noticed quite a number of problem on my experience. There are some sites that requires quite a big memory and a error message will be prompt if its not enough memory. However, setting a Save Memory setting in the browser will solve the problem... |

QUOTE(riku2replica @ Nov 6 2007, 02:23 PM) no other seller which sells other color like lavender purple except for strongbaby... Btw, does anyone knows where did the stock comes from? My guess would be japan? Bernard have it when i went to buy my PSP from him. His region is PSP-2006 and i guess that - Hong Kong QUOTE(wilsonjay @ Nov 6 2007, 03:12 PM) OMG...means i cant buy Fat PSP from anywhere???? even lowyat?doesnt matter whether its black or what color... Well, its possible but kinda hard i guess. I still sees bernard have it in his shop (the boxes). So, maybe you could ask him and see.Anyway, just curious, why would you still wanna buy the PSP Fat?I mean, with the PSP Slim being cheaper, better and newer, its hard for people to find a reason to get the Fat. Therefore, i guess most sellers out there would only stock up the Slim.. |

The PSP Spiderman edition is really good looking to me. Now, is that full red edition called the XMAS Pack?

QUOTE(Hyde`fK @ Nov 9 2007, 12:41 PM) When copied the PSPRadio files into /PSP/GAME, I also copied a playlist downloaded from net into the playlist folder. The downloaded playlist is actually the culprit which makes the program hangs and restart itself. So I just have copy the files without the playlist, it works fine. Not bad for the program, can listen online radio now. Do we need anything extra?aka Anthenna or some external party device? |

QUOTE(mzaidi @ Nov 16 2007, 05:19 PM) Yes, you can unbrick using files from other PSP, but the wifi and the umd drive won't work. The only thing you can do then is play MP3 or view photos on your PSP. Ok, great. Thanks for the advice there. Guess i really need to back everything up. One more question, this applies to the Slim only or both the Slim & Phat (since this is Slim discussion).LOL...You need the files from your own PSP if you want to unbrick and restore full functionality. QUOTE(madmoz @ Nov 16 2007, 05:20 PM) For sure you would not have any problem. Running on Official Firmwares and UMDs would not bring you any sort of trouble with bricking. |

LOL..There is always a "slight" risk. However, given that madmoz is really running on UMD only, wouldnt it be possible to send to Sony to update the firmware? Dont tell me they will charge and need a few days to do so though...LOL...

QUOTE(madmoz @ Nov 16 2007, 09:04 PM) problem is sony centre until today still no psp slim... street fighter alpha 3, disgaea and fftactics all sitting around on my desk - umd bookmarks I went to Times Square Sony Style before and notice they had the PSP Phat on sale there.. Not sure about the launching of Slim before though..LOL..Added on November 16, 2007, 9:05 pmpsp phat also tidak ada in sony wings QUOTE(jdreamer @ Nov 17 2007, 08:21 PM) As i said before, there is already down to no point in getting the Phat version already as the Slim has more features + a better price. The only down side for the Slim, as said by dattebayo is that is quite fragile and not to mention, the less accesories now. |
