Just a precaution, don't accidentally press the wrong option as it can brick your PSP if it's a slim.

Format F1 and restore to default...this option is really dangerous for PSP slim. it'll corrupt the Flash1 partitions..so be careful..

QUOTE(akachester @ Oct 29 2007, 08:31 PM) Is there a way to save the Slim if it is really bricked? that's why you must make a backup of the nand flash. read from the first page. there's already a link to download the application to backup your nand flash. I don't want to repeat twice.

hi guys... Im thinkin of getting a composite cable for my PSP Slim... I know that with the composite cable you cant play games... but my intention is just to watch movies when traveling... coz I figure most hotel rooms nowadays dont have LCD or PLasma TV's as standard issue so I'll just need the RCA yellow red white cables. anyone has seen the composite cables on the store shelves?

QUOTE(Takezho~* @ Oct 29 2007, 10:53 PM) BTW is the sound quality of PSP good when listening to music? how is the quality if compare to an average sony mp3 player or an ipod? one word, not enough bass the sound is very similar to a W800i playing on Bass (not megabass)

Hi guys, there's a shop near my place (Holiday Plaza) selling PSP Slim for RM750 with standard stuffs and 4GB mspd as well some games , I'm quite skeptical even if the mspd is fake but need some advice to prevent from buying the "not the one it should be" if you know what I mean. I'm going to get one soon and wanna ask if the fake mspd is reliable as so many shops selling it nowadays...

QUOTE(akachester @ Oct 29 2007, 08:31 PM) Is there a way to save the Slim if it is really bricked? Yes, as long as your IDStorage is not corrupted, then it can be fully unbricked with all function working.

IMHO, the sound quality of PSP Slim is still somewhat inferior compare to a good mp3 player such as IPOD or ZEN. It gets obvious when you are using a pair of good quality earphones.
