how bout running psx game(eboot.pbp) and the screen whole blank 

i search over forum they said is because the kernal, folder name.. 

I tried to update my ORI set v3.40 OE-A to latest OFFICIAL from SONY (via Network Update)
Then you wont be able to play "funny" game anymore.

I got error : The game could not be started (DADADADA)
CFW dun allow you to update to official firmware via network update.

Q: Is it safe to update to latest version (googled but cannot find a good answer)

DADADADA = error code coz you have the incorrect idstorage.
This incorrect idstorage is needed to have CFW to run.

DADADADA is an error message displayed when you try to update from a custom firmware to official firmware (i.e. V3.40 OE-A to V3.71).
(DA is derived from the initials of the coder of V3.40 OE-A, Dark-AleX)

IIRC, the only way to update your PSP to official firmware V3.71 is to downgrade from V3.40 OE-A to V1.50, then upgrade from V1.50 to V3.72.
(V3.40 OE-A > V1.50 > V3.71)

But if you want to update your PSP to custom firmware V3.71 M33-2, you can definitely do it directly from V3.40 OE-A to V3.71 M33-2.
(V3.40 OE-A > V3.71 M33-2)

problem is, flashing back to OFW from CFW isn't as easy as flashing to a CFW from OFW
somemore, to fix a bricked PSP due to the exploit of CFW, Sony still won't layan one, they will charge some money

any idea how to download or enable flash player on PSP? can't browse websites with flash installed.

Hi all,
I just received my new psp-2000 lite. I have a problem when trying to connect to internet. I've configure my 3COM wireless router:
1. Mixed Mode
2. Reserve the MAC add under a IP address in my LAN/Wireless configuration.

In PSP:
1. Configured IP address to 192.168.1.xx (same and i am able to connect to the router (I assume my PSP has obtained an IP from router because the test connection seems to be success))
2. Route: 192.168.1.1, DNS1 & 2 :192.168.1.1
3. When test connection, i can see a new connection in my router, which is pointing the MAC add of the PSP.
4. I scroll down the test result and saw the Internet connection not success.
5. I open the PSP browser, type in http://www.google.com but I received this error: 8041040F.

Anyone can help?

Do not. I repeat DO NOT flash dump to ur psp using another psp dump. It will corrupt the ID Storage.
The correct way to unbrick a bricked PSP slim is to dump the bricked psp slim using dcv3 (yes dump it even it's brick).
And hexedit out the idstorage and combine it with empty dump file before flashing it to the bricked PSP.

Attached is the empty psp slim nand dump (use 7zip or jzip to extract).
Just hex out the idstorage of the bricked psp slim and combine with this empty nand with partition information and then flash back to the psp, then use DCv3 to install 3.17 m33-2.

Caution! If u dont understand what is this all about, plz dun, I REPEAT! DO NOT TRY IT.

I'm not responsible for any further brick for trying the above method.
But this can restore the bricked psp slim with correct id storage.
