Whoa, after reading 9 page of long discussions here, i am quite scare if something happen with my psp slim. I bought one unit by post from sce exactly a month ago. Received in good condition and straight i upgrade to 3.71 M33 by myself. Pergh, so far its working fine cos i just play downloaded games only. no homebrews. tried eLoader but not all can play so delete it.
Wifi is good. no problem at all but never try multiplayer yet. Hope nothing will happen then. If something happen then its sure hell for me in Miri. all charge here are ridiculously expensive and most but not all of the shop owner doesn't know wth about firmware, unbrick whatsoever.

bro upgrade from 3.40oea direct to 3.71m33

DL first the update cfw 3.71m33-2; [here]

Copy the Update folder on PSP/GAME; should be like this
1. umodule.prx
2. eboot.pbp
3. 371.pbp (sony orig fw just rename it)

Run it just like a homebrew, follow the instructions
NOTE: After completion, press X or O depends on your settings

DONNOT MANUALLY REBOOT YOUR PSP, Or ELSE BRICK

If necessary you can reformat flash1 via recovery menu, but take out UMD on UMD slot....BSOD appears, its normal, just press O, it will then goto registry...

On 1.50kernelv2 addon, same procedure copy to PSP/GAME
but, 150.pbp you put it on ms root...

and your done....

kat kedai beskal pun ader jual lah...the AV cable is only for PSP slim, you can't get it at any hardware shops, only gameshops...

PSP Slim to composite - RM65-RM80
PSP Slim to component - RM65-RM80
PSP Slim to VGA - RM120-RM150

composite is the red yellow white cable..
component is the red green blue..
i hope u know vga...

PSP games only can be played on TV with progressive scan supported.
or else.. u only can access XMB, pictures and music on TV...

now i guess u want to ask how to check ur tv support progressive or not rite?

Where to get PSP Slim to VGA for RM120-RM150? Are you refering to PSP Slim component cable connected to VGA converter with progressive scan component input? So the VGA converter is only RM55-RM70?

Cons: Lighter means they have remove some metal chasis, so if you drop the PSP then it's bye bye time

other than that, it's nothing much, some like Fat more, some prefer Slim more
