Hi guys, wanted to ask is it roaming is always high latency regardless of which telco? Im working in brunei, their local carrier and internet is very expensive. Im on digi roaming now but thinking switch to umobile hopefully it will be lower latency. But not sure also will it be better. Any ideas?

That’s how roaming works. It is a temporary or backup solution.

Your data and its traffic needs to be routed back to your home country’s network, so it’s like you’re connected to the slowest vpn

Also, if networks detect roaming for more than a few months, the local network can ban your phone from roaming

In certain country, if you have VPN installed and not activated, your phone will still have problem.
