Sorry can't afford to buy a lcd tv so going to get a monitor instead.

I found this dell monitor which is quite reasonable the price.

The only problem is I need to add another RM200 for the speaker which is quite nice attach to the monitor

Is there anyone can suggest me another lcd monitor with a best price? Here are requirements
1. With support hd component output
2. Wide screen
3. 20" - 22"
4. Price quite reasonable
5. Any brand as long it's good.
6. Budget RM1000 or less

Another thing, where can I buy the vga cable for xbox 360 other then going gamers hideout. Quite far leh for me to drive there and buy.

I would recommend Samsung 226BW..it has 2ms repsonse time (grey to grey) and there's no ghosting image...great for movies and games.... but it's all up to you...another wise choice would be Viewsonic VX2025WM ...8ms response time..by the way, Dell model that u want to buy is not bad also...I'd recommend that you do a search in Google for LCD monitor review b4 u buy any LCD monitor..

I bought from PC Fair...

i am using the 22 inch lcd frm dell. rm800 plus only. damn worth it for budget players like me.. haha. its max 720p for ps3 but for pc has till 1050 reso. so ok lo.. haha

my recommendation is to save and go for a 24 incher

u don't necessarily have to spend a load for 24"

i think there was that new HP 24" for rm1800 or something?

for the cable you can only choose a few shops...
i saw some shops in KL have it...
but the price... of course la... a little expensive...
other than that you can try online buying from www.play-asia.com...

another wise choice would be Dell E228WFP...only RM 859...22 inch somemore... ...but only can buy online..that if u have a CC la..5ms response time..good for movies n games...

can someone tell me if i'd use the cables they give,will it give better resolution?

Elite can use hdmi cable, resolution sure best.

if not the composite cable also good enough...

from what i understand 32" LCD TV using hdmi, doenst maximize the potential of hdmi to shine. it works to its maximum limit only at 37 and above if i am not mistaken.

but what i can say 32" samsung S series is awesome with Halo,GOW, FM2 and also PGR4.

This is only with composite.

Try Samsung 19" 931BLW and it only cost you 69x MYR. Worth to invest one for those who just want to know the diff btwn playing the xbox on tv and lcd monitor. Samsung 2 ms is worth for everything...at least we feel it in the cybercafe itself..

Too bad, the contrast is only 800:1.
