Is anyone doing such comparison before?

Using Coway water purifier with switched on electric 24 hours per day vs boiling water for 5-10 minutes everyday, which one has higher electricity consumption on monthly basis?

I think purifier is a scam. I took coway last time. Every few mths need change filter. Damn it's water. So I just back to basic sand n charcoal filter then boil it. At least my blood don't boil see the bill

Electrical purifier is excessive for the average person.

Mankind survived ok enough with relying on boiling water which kills 99% of germs anyway

Unless you are germophobic and/or have severely immunocompromised members of household, a good quality filter system is more value overall than an electrical purifier.

As far as my opinion goes, electrical purifier is more to showoff/pay for the convenience of "instant" hot and cold water than anything else.

With all sorts of pollution worsening nowadays, getting a one off filter would be a good idea to have a piece of mind. Provided that if you are able to. Subscription is a bad idea, same as having loan. Unless you feel you MUST have it.

Ok, thanks for sharing.

Now i'm looking for under sink filter + faucet. What are the things we need to take into account? micron size, capacity, warranty, what else?

What micron size is recommended?

I also have similar question. If staying alone, what is the electricity bill difference between having a constantly-on water purifier vs boiling using elec kettle once/twice a day

water purifier mean with heat and cold function?
those with tank consume more electricity compare to tankless one.

some people report that tankless cost you rm2~rm5 per month compare to tank; which require frequent re-boil few hours around rm20.

if you have kid, have hot water ready is so convenience.
