* 22nd Oct 07 Update
Whelping youtube video version is ready here:
http://top10world.net/2007/10/brave-mico-give-birth-video/

This is the video of Mico giving birth to 1st puppy (of 4 total).
This is the second time she giving birth so she's more steady compare to last time.
Anyhow, still a very difficult process. Remember, This process was REPEATED for 5 times! 1 still birth sad.gif

So think before you stud your dog smile.gif
Really "half-life" gone one...

* My whelping experience
Last batch I wasn't around but my gf said 1st time Mico was much more painful than this time, she yelling all the time.
Anyway, what I'm gonna share here is last night process and some important points.
I'll try my best to describe all but sorry for the incorrect terms I use tongue.gif

1. Before the puppy come out, it's best to see some yellow fluid come out first. That means the "plastic bag" is broken and the puppy can breathing once he's out.
2. If the "plastic" come out together with the puppy and din broke but the mama do nothing, you help her to broke the plastic or the puppy will die without oxygens.
3. For the 5th puppy that came out last night, Mico was too tired and can't really pushed her out. Only the head was out and we help her to gently pull out the whole head. This is important as we can see the puppy was slowly moving back into the body!
4. The mama will bite the puppy a little bit after the puppy is out. This is similar process like doctor hit the new born baby pat-pat to make them cry. The reason is to make puppy shout and extend their lung.
5. Symptoms she's giving birth soon - Start shaking on and off whole day.
6. Mico doesn't wants to eat anything include her favorite tit-bits during the process, 1130 to midnight 330. But once she finished the last one, she will eat.
7. Prepare a tub as the whelping ground because blood and fluid will be all around :|

Sumo is the only son last batch. He looks small ah? Actually he's the biggest size one, and ate a lot, even when he was small. That's why we call him Sumo biggrin.gif

I plan to sell them cheaply to dogs lover, preferable from Penang as I'm from Penang too.
Definitely no pet shop and breeder.
But still too early to say this, at least 5 weeks later, let see how's things going on smile.gif
