To start things off, this is what I've done to my wife's iPhone. I got the theme from modmyiphone.com. My wife likes it and my daughter absolutely loves it. It's a Tinkerbell theme.



Mine is still work in progress as I'm trying to do something original but I've just realised that I'm not that creative.

Sorry but I have no idea. I would expect so. Check modmyiphone.com. They may have more info there on customizing the iPod Touch. I would expect them to be fairly similar.

morgan, I see you're selling the iPod HiFi. Can the iPhone work in it? Does it fit OK since there probably isn't a dock adaptor for the iPhone.

bryanyz, nice bubbles, how did you get so many & small icons in the dock?

crazymoo, high price indeed! Lots on sale in the trade forums here.

iphonegizmo, I use iFuntastic OS X to take my screenshots but it's only for 1.0.2. Also Dock, available from Installer.app, has a screenshot function.

Take an iPhone screenshot but there NO save pic inside Photos ..where it go?

iphonegizmo, I just tried it and it saved the screenshot inside Camera Roll. I'm on Dock 2.0.6 & iPhone 1.0.2 here.

use the "dock" application

mine for today:

use the customize and summerboard..
use summerboard to enable the dock to be small icon
and use the customize to rearrange the icon into the dock and hide the icons.

soonwai, which app do you use to take a screenshot of your unlock screen?

iphone nice? heard it is quite big.. plan to get in uk since it arrive next month, about 250 pound for 8g i think

zc_squash, I use iFuntastic on a Mac. The screenshot is actually initiated on the Mac.

This theme I upload using Cyberduck via SFTP. The Icons are from iconfactory.com and some created by me. This theme still working in progress.

Of course, both runs Mac OS X and have the same binary source. Else, no need to jailbreak the iTouch.

how u guys change the slide button and all?

BTW i heard that 1.1.3 updates can do alot more things.

for 1.1.3 video u can search around through youtube
supposedly u can change the layout of your menu icons and so on..

i have try to install the theme.. looks gr8. but 2 thing need ur help with

1. i have accidently create a fodler n upload the whole file in raw - now cannot delete the folder - how to delete eh?
2. y the weather icon remain the standard icon.. can use the one u nicely design...

SETTING/GENERAL/REGIONAL/REGION FORMAT/----> united states.

Hey, I'm wondering, if Wei's work is available through an installer ? Any plans to create a repository of your own ?

nothing to share about la. for my theme, you just need some initiatives. no actual hard work required though it might sound laborious. first you need to download the plain jain theme from the installer. secondly, you will need the camera pro to harness its greyscale features. you might find customize quite a helpful feature in order to sort out the icons. of course lastly, you will need the actual civic dashboard to complete the theme

v can delete the whole ori theme and download customize theme and icons is that so?

I used the background and dock provided by SummerBoard and changed the icons

@wei , can share the steel slider?

Make that a standard THEME, without the '-s'. The default theme and icons were never meant to be modified in any way. So Summerboard and Customize do the exact opposite by allowing you to change/modify these icons. Also, when you change a theme, Summerboard/Customize doesn't delete the original, so you can always revert to the original if anything screws up
