I started my career as an AS400 programmer, 2.5 years later I changed my job to as a Java Developer

I have 2 years experience and counting as a Java developer, now taking RM6000 salary

let's say if I have job offer RM8000 for a Golang job, should I take it?

I feel like my CV not looking so good keep jumping programming field

What about advancing it? To Principal -> Architect?

i can be java solution architect, also can be a golang solution architect in future. problem now im facing is should i stay and focus my skill and build my cv as Java developer, or should i take the golang job with high increment, but i need to build my golang cv from scratch.

the high increment is really tmpting, i recently just changed my job from rm4620 salary to rm6000 for 3 months only.

If you prefer money, go for it.

If you prefer knowledge, stay.

Im doing ABAP and get rm6000 for my 3rd company (job hop)

If other company offer me rm8000 i need to do different language. I reject cuz i love what im doing

If you think that's bad, let me tell you I switched jobs for the fifth time in 7 years.

For the first 3, totally unrelated to what I wanna do.

Well up to you. What's your passion?
Short gain now? Or long term?
Also any preference liking in terms of the tech?

If current job allows you to go deep into the subject, try to do so. Jack of all trades, master in 1 at least?

i have passion in programming, they all are more or less the same, just the syntax and IDE you meed to learn and get used to.

for the Golang offer. job is sound interesting, have a lot new tech stack exposure. benefit is good.

I have another RM9k java offer but it's a completely new company, and I don't really want to join a new company. I have bad experience because my previous company also a new company.
