The only one i know is komplex 3k in subang. My main concern is the security. How do we keep our car keys and phone. Are there lockers? Are the lockers safe?

Other than kompleks 3k any other indoor public swimming pool around puchong, sunway, subang kelana jaya area?

Most people just leave their bags at the side of pool and wish for the best. Since KL is still relatively safe.

Bukit Jalil is indoor.

Prefer outdoor though get some sun and not cold

I’m only free around afternoon time. Too hot to go swimming outdoors at that time.

Bukit Jalil swimming pool is well maintained.

I heard that there's a Panasonic factory swimming pool at Shah Alam pre-covid times. Not sure it is still open to public now.

i thought those indoor public pools are mainly for gay people?
heard about so many cases.

I’m thinking of going around 1-2pm. Will be too hot if it’s not indoor.

Never been there. If not mistaken it’s rm8 for one hour+locker rm2. I feel a bit too expensive and the time too short.

Looks like it’s still open. But during weekdays it’s only open from 4 pm onwards. Not the time that i can go.

Been to 3k a few times. I just bring my phone and enough money to pay for admission fee, and a plastic bag. I put my car key inside the plastic bag and pile my shirt on the bag by the side of the pool.

I don't use lockers even if available because I don't trust it, and I don't like to hang the key on my wrist.

Used to go to 3K twice a week before COVID and then realized I get sick (runny nose / sore throat with cough that lasts for 1 month/ eyes infection) very frequently like once every 2 months - can say symptoms worse than when I got COVID - whereas I hardly ever got sick before starting my swimming there. I realized it may be the dirty pool water, so I stopped going and I'm back to hardly ever getting sick since.

I had one incident where 3 of us were playing golf at the putting area. One of us had a pouch and he placed it on the ground while he putt. The thief was so skillful he stole the pouch without any of us realizing it. That is what I’m scared of putting it in open area.

Understand why you're worried. Every Malaysian will know this feeling.

Price of maintenance and security. U want to get sick from dirty water and property stolen? Go the cheap one lo.

Yes. Good things need to pay more.
But their one hour slot is too short for me.

Anyone been to the kelana jaya swimming pool during 10-12 session? Is it too hot or there could have some are that is partially shaded by the spectator stand?

Panasonic Sports Complex Shah Alam swimming pool. Outdoor swimming pool but the pool are shaded. Clean an well maintained. Locker available. Can also put your bag at the side of the pool.

Public swimming pool is gross. Not to mention, how your skin and teeth feels after long hours.
