QUOTE(Mr Mercedes @ Aug 13 2023, 01:22 PM) Can't comment on Acura, I've never owned or driven one before. Which es250? Current gen or previous? As fot Infiniti, I've driven the Q50, Q60 and Q70 before. Q50 and Q60 shares the drive train as the C250 W205, but doesn't feel as premium, and I fine the Mercedes more quiet and refined. Also, the Infinitis Q50 and Q60 doesn't even have peddle shifters. This is unacceptable for a car that costs so much. Q70, the interior looks like it's from the 90s, doesn't have modern safety specs, and handles like a sampan. I'm a ES250 owner, and it's a bigger Camry with a luxury badge. Any opinion between the current gen es250 vs camry with fd engine? |

Never driven any Infiniti or Acura before, so cannot comment. Would take a Lexus NX over any of the Merc, Audi or BMW equivalents in its price range, but for the sedans I would probably gravitate towards the Germans.

It was a difficult choice for me to choose between a used Q50, IS250 (2nd Gen) or MarkX (2nd Gen).
After joining the Infiniti Malaysia FB group, I decided to dump the Q50. Looks like only 1 workshop in the whole Klang Valley can do the repair, and as usually everyone is recommending the Nissan service center in Batu Cave. Parts are source from Singapore, very little component shared among Nissan models. Although it is using Merc's 2.0L, but sometimes parts can be different between CBU and CKD, it all depends on VIN number. My previous Polo CBU doesn't even share the same ABS sensor as the CKD ones. I ended up with MarkX with much more workshop can do the job, more spare parts and halfcut, and even share the same side mirror with MyVi.. QUOTE(plouffle0789 @ Aug 13 2023, 08:10 PM) Most likely yes.. my MarkX has the same drive train, chassis and suspension as Lexus.Normal change engine oil, atf, rear axle oil, spark plugs.. After 110,000km, never given a single issue. Still on stock AVS suspension (Adaptive variable suspension) Just my butt itch to upgrade camber kit, strut bar, autofoam and K&N fllter. |
