bro, can cod or not? i at kl, driving 4g13. My timing belt start to give me annoying sound, where i need to use candle to smooth back the belt and for few min of driving, the sound came back. What should i do? Pls pm me..Thanks

bro, are you sure its the timing belt itself? or tha auxillary belt (air cond/fan belt) anyway if the t5iming belt giving noise, there is a high chance the belt will give out very soon.

Please check for sign of belt cracks
Faulty Tensioner
or leaking oil seal ( oil spilled to belt itself and causing pre-mature belt failure

i would suggest replacing the whole timing belt set (belt + seals + tensioner (bearing)) with quality ones and make sure that the foreman that carried out the job did a proper installation.

P.S ive seen many foreman likes to use flathead screwdriver to pry out the old oil sels, which are very bad practice.

in fact it create hairline cracks between the metal and oil seal surface that would allow oil to sip thru and pollute the belt itself.
