says mcd themselves. quarter pound refers to beef before cooking. once cooked, actual weight is much less. there was a big hooha a few years back. I think McD then increase the beef weight slightly to compensate.

I'm talking bout Whoppers... supposed to be just pure grounded beef... not sure if they added seasonings. As for other patties like Chicken etc, can't comment I don't really remember other BK's products

Ahh I've no idea that BK's whopper can be considered salty but you can call up to ask if their patties are pure or contain seasoning. I normally find the jalapeno peppers are that one that caused the saltiness but kinda enjoyed it. U tried eating just the patties alone and still salty?
